The Vinyl Wall: Pinkerton

Wall Worthy because…
You can group a LOT of Weezer’s albums together based on song content and overall quality (They do it to themselves with all of their self titled albums.) What I love about this album and cover is that nothing else in the Weezer catalogue sounds or looks remotely like it. The band has yet to return anywhere near the distorted brashness of Pinkerton despite Rivers Cuomo admitting that he feels vindicated by the cult following it has developed. I always have a soft spot for albums of misunderstood greatness.
